The vehicles that earn your revenue.
Service vans, cube trucks, pickups with your name on the door — if a vehicle makes you money, a personal auto policy won't protect it. Commercial auto insurance covers the way business vehicles actually get used.
A personal policy on a work vehicle is a claim denial waiting to happen.
Insurers ask one question at claim time: was this vehicle being used for business? If the answer is yes and the policy says personal use, you're uncovered — and possibly uninsured in the eyes of the law.
Commercial auto fixes that cleanly: proper use classification, drivers listed right, limits that match your contracts. It's usually not even more expensive than the personal policy it replaces. It's just correct.
What's covered
Every risk is different, so every policy is built — not pulled off a shelf. Here's what a commercial auto program typically includes:
Liability that fits your contracts
$1M–$2M+ limits, with certificates issued fast when a client or job site demands proof.
Physical damage
Collision and comprehensive scheduled per vehicle, so a work truck isn't a write-off surprise.
Hired & non-owned auto
Covers rentals and employees' personal vehicles used on company business.
Goods in transit
Tools, equipment, and product carried in the vehicle — covered while it moves with you.
Multiple drivers, one policy
Driver schedules managed properly so adding a new hire doesn't become a coverage question.
Fleet rating as you grow
Start with one van; your program scales and your per-unit cost drops as the fleet grows.
How it works
Ten minutes on the phone. What you run, what you own, what keeps you up at night. No forms, no phone trees.
I take your file to 60+ insurers and specialty markets through Aaxel and make them compete for your business.
Clear options, straight numbers, coverage that actually fits. You decide — I handle the paperwork.
Commercial auto across the GTA
Plumbers in Mississauga, electricians in Brampton, couriers running the 401 every day — I insure work vehicles across the GTA and Ontario. If your business owns it, leases it, or sends employees out in it, I'll make sure it's covered right and priced sharp.
Questions, answered
Can I just add my work van to my personal policy?
No — business use needs a commercial policy. A personal policy can deny a claim outright if the vehicle was being used for work. It's one of the most common (and expensive) mistakes I fix.
How fast can I get a certificate of insurance?
Usually same day. Contractors and service businesses live on certificates — I keep the process quick so you never lose a job waiting on paperwork.
I have one truck. Is that too small for you?
Not at all. One work vehicle today is a fleet tomorrow. I write single-unit commercial auto all the time.
